Session Two

Plan

  • Skip a few weeks to Spectremass
  • They have been resting and eating the chartreuse honey, they are given abode at The Rainbow keep
  • Although things have been quite quiet now they each get to ask a question from their investigations
  • The Leaf Knight has left to Klaegcasleen to renew their vow of loyalty to The Ghoul Knight as part of Spectremass

Inciting event

  • The knights will awaken to a massive crashing sound
  • The Forge’s chimney like roof have collapsed as the green eyed seers steed hovers over the forge. Its 3 legs connect to the black rod (it is absorbing energy). The forges cool down by afternoon
  • Chaos ensues as people try to help others and figure out what’s going on around the forge
  • The Emerald lights followers surround the forge praying and thanking their god
  • The Eagle followers use this opportunity to try to secretly storm the keep and steal the reliquary to give to the Eagle. They will go armed and they are able to escape through the north wall of the town through one of the empty beehive holes.

Time skip to spectremass

  • Weeks past and Spectremass occurs meaning The Leaf Knight (ruler of Fabriknock) leaves to the seat of power.
    • She leaves the company to protect the reliquary
  • Each knight accomplishes something.
  • The Silk Knight investigates the bar “The Emerald Clover” where the Emerald Lights followers gather
  • The Story Knight frequents “The Scarlett Rose”
    • He finds out the Tangled seer lives at 5-9 in the forest
  • The Salt knight gather favours to acquire a shield
  • The Violet Knight
    • ALso investigates about the surrounding area learning that there is something weird about eh lake at 6-7

Day 1 morning

Fabriknock (5-12)

  • A crash at the forge. The Green eyed seer’s steed has attached to the forge’s heat producing rod by its three legs.
  • The Story Knight and The Silk Knight go to the forge
    • They help the citizens
    • The Emerald light followers arrive to pray to the steed
    • The Story Knight notices that the forges are cooling down
    • Use the Silk Knights silk The Story and Silk Knights climb the rod to attack the steed’s legs
    • A Emerald Lights guard climbs the rod but the Knights trick him to go back down
    • The Knights cuts one of the leg claws off but then another leg responds by attacking them
    • It greatly harms The Story Knight and pushes off The Silk Knight who is mortally wounded
  • The Salt Knight and The Violet Knight stay at the Rainbow keep to protect the reliquary
    • A Mob/warband of armed villager arrive (militia)
    • The knights take the skeleton and rush up the stairs of the keep
    • The Salt knight washes the militia down the stairs with her everlasting flask
    • They reach a window at the back of the castle and call for their horses
    • The militia catches up but the knights manage to push them down the stairs with mighty force
    • This gives them enough time for the horses to arrive and let them jump out the window to escape
  • The Knights rendezvous at the forge and they escape with reliquary and unconscious Silk Knight on tow to 11-6

Day 1 afternoon

11-6

  • The company meet a Fabriknock fisherman by a pond. He warns them of the “old girl o’ the pond” (1st omen of the sprite)

Day 1 night

5-10 (got a little confused by when people travel in this session)

  • The company rests
  • The Story Knight tales in relation to 5-9
    • A previous travelling company are there with their gear
    • The Green eyed seer’s steed will reach there

Day 2 morning

5-9

  • The company descends into the deep rustling forest
  • On their way to the Tangle Seer’s Sanctum they hear multiple strikes of lightning
  • They find the Tangled Seers sanctum has been attacked by the Tower
  • All dead except the seer
  • With some water of the Everlasting flask and teamwork they manage to rescue the tangled seer
  • The seer is a mass of limbs and heads, they writhe with faces constantly moving across its form
  • It gives them guidance saying to get rid of The Green Eyed Seer’s steed they can either:
    • Give the bones to the steed
    • Give the bones to the eagle

Day 2 afternoon

5-10

  • The company goes to the hills to offer the bones to the steed
  • It arrives grabbing and taking the bones into itself
  • However, the company had tied The Silk Knight’s silk to the bones so they would be brought along too
    • All but the Violet Knight got in, he falling and taking some damage to vigour
  • In the tower the “seer” reforms from the green interior of the tower as a blob like form
  • It is happy with the knights and becomes more human looking to gift them a boon
  • The ask for the murder of the eagle
  • After releasing the company of the tower it shoots an emerald light above itself
  • This attracts the wounded eagle which is subsequently struck with a lightning bolt from the tower The knights have resolved The Eagle myth

Day 2 night

5-10

  • A peaceful rest
  • The Story Knight tales in relation to 6-7
    • A long time a go an old girl was sacrificed by a local cult (TRUE)
      • This was an occurence of the The RIver myth in the First age
    • A powerful sword is hidden in the lake protected by the girl (FALSE)

  • Peaceful journey

Day 3 afternoon

Fabriknock (5-11)

  • The Emerald lights won the battle of Fabriknock thanks to the help of the Green Eyed seer’s steed and the loss of the Eagle
  • A feast was help to celebrate their victory and the company were accepted as heroes by the Emerald lights
  • The Green Eyed Seer said it would ascend into the skies to become the fourth eye of Emerald Eye
  • However it said it would return for the bounty
  • The company earned gear from the town

Time skip to Harvest

  • The leaf knights returns aghast at what has transpired, although she does not kick them otu of the rainbow keep (townspeople would be unhappy) she no longer speaks to them
